I have said to myself quite a number of times when i m been living on myself, that when you get older your friends are as much as your family as your family is;well almost as much, and definitely only some of your friends :P

but i still find it hard to spend time with both friends and family on new year.i do feel somewhat guilty hanging out with friends on new year's eve instead of my family. Even though i decided to be back on the 1st before they wake up like 5 a.m. in the morning.

I m grateful to God for the friends that he has introduced and let me keep.

Someone asked me whats is there to be ready about when i asked her, "are you ready?"
I said its probably nothing but the idea of walking into something new or a fresh start for those who need it.

I m already missing all the high pitched "vikky anna"s and the soft spoken cute excuse me at the beginning of Shary's sentences.

In the five days, i have learned a lot about myself and i think i have been given a lot of time to reflect where i m in my life at the moment, and where i want to be in the near future. As well,as a lot of the questions i have in my head and heart. I have decided to look for the answers... its been awhile i ve be ignorant and too complacent with the false stability of my emotions. I notice how unsatisfied i really am. The songs i write show some signs too.

I ve realized how human we all are, how much fallacy there is a lot of our decisions and how we cover them up with reasons that actually have a better counter-arguement from a different point of view. However, we pick what's more convenient for us.

And the kids thought me how to appreciate my parents, how much they care for me. In the past, i agree i havent always been fair or easy on them. They say the difficult ones are normally the great ones, how true is that?

Anyways, i had a lot of fun for the most part. I love my family.

I went to brunei to visit family. Thats exactly what i did.

I don't regret coming back even though for a short while...

Almost got hit by the pneumatic arm that pushes the ranges(stove+range) onto the assembly line. I triggered the IR sensor while measuring something of the units. I was like whats the woosh sound..turn and look WUTT??!... jumped out of the like a frog? over the railings.. phew... it pushed the unit of line..panicked..(sleepy + panic = ???) haha... and just before entering that area i was thinking to myself, "what s the "pedestrians do not enter" sign for...

ask too many questions, and you ll find the answers.. sometimes..

I slept for 11 hours yesterday from 8 pm to 7 am, its been a very long time since i did that. I can't even remember when. It's normally 3-5 hours everyday

First half of work

That's the number of data points i have for this torque test, 800,000. LOL,its to solve the ergo issue on the lines. Some of the operators are hurting their hands from screwing with a power drill. So i need to run tests on different hole sizes, and the torque created from screwing.Also, to get a standard value for the torque setting on their drills so that the holes don't strip. Let me not bore you, more than i already have with the details.

LOL, now that my hand hurts from the test... I have to write a report on this test, now my eyes will hurt. Not listening to music cause my ear skin is sore from using headphones too long. Maybe its easier to say everywhere hurts.

Second Half,

came back at 2 O.O yeah i know... lunch ends at 1. lol, we played basketball today,even some of the mentors probably one of the most intense games. One of them slammed me on my mouth with his elbow,so i know i cut both my left lower and up lip.

When he won, it felt like a dream. Not that i was supporting either one of the senators. I was still undecided but it felt refreshing, new... a breathe of hope. An african american president for the US, just reinforces the belief in the democracy to many people, even those in other countries.

Congratulations to both Obama and Mccain. For wanting it hard enough, and for going for it.

Prolly the most entertaining elections too...

Now i hope politic steps into a new direction, reality.

Happy Diwali

We celebrated deepavali/diwali (whichever you prefer). Thanks to the people who planned it, mainly Avadhi and Pranjal. We had fireworks :P too... it was cold, flip flop got me frost on my toes lol... its below zero now -1 or -2 celcius. Didn't want to wear a sweat shirt at first luckily Arvic convinced me to use his.

It was a really fun weekend, despite the little problems here and there.

However, i can't seem to get somethings of my mind recently,been lacking on sleep too. And i havent been able to write any songs. haha... will figure it out.

anyways, this week basically was fun... :) facebook might show some of the stuff i did hehe..

oh yeah the soccer game, my team played today was intense. I have never seen so many cards on an intramural soccer game before. 2 reds (for cussing) and 3 yellows for slide tackles. The referee could have handle things better i would say. Anyways, we still won 1-0 with 9 instead of the usual 11 players.

Naked In The Cold

I'm not sure how many people do this, but i feel asleep in between changing my clothes. So i slept half naked, which was probably not a good idea. I woke up feeling pretty cold and not wanting to get out of my blanket. This past few days the temperature has dropped below zero(celcius not Fahrenheit don't panic, americans! LOL). Had to even clean ice with barehands from the windscreen yesterday because we don't have scrappers.

I kinda like the cold weather but not when u have to wake up so early, and take a shower. It's only gonna get colder with rain too according to the forecast. haha...just whining, its the south it ain't supposed to get cold this fast, well maybe it is. ok it is...

Anyways, Homecoming is this weekend.Thinking of whether i wanna go back to Atlanta and watch the tickets after buying after 40 bucks ticket or just going to raleigh,NC for a party by doing so signing up for an 8 hour drive there and another 8 back.

Early Tuesday morning, Jamie's(my mentor) back from vacation. I hope i get something fun to do today. Aite, better get back to work.

Rough Waters

A lot going thru my mind, a lot coming up in front me... today i decided just to take easy...

Sometimes life comes at you too fast, you lose the fight in you. Its important to stop and take a breather... which i did... quite a lot today, i took the last two hours at work today to chill, i didnt play football/rugby/gym or whatever... i just sat back..

And i did finish recording "i don't care" yeah what better mood to record it in right? LOL. Decided that i wanna try some other styles of music not the indie or pop rock acoustic stuff that i ve been playing.

Laundry Blogging

It's been awhile since i blogged during or after doing my laundry. So here goes, i had two weeks worth of clothes and nothing decent to wear to work besides t-shirts that probably weren't to work-like.

My roommates and co-workers already did their laundry, so i had to go alone... and how did i do that with no car license? well the usual, illegal driving >_<" . I know i shouldn't take the risk, but yeah... i did what i thought i needed to do.

Anyways, i had to call Arvic to find out where the heck is the laundromat. Haha, if i dont drive i dont care about directions. So i get to the laundromat after like 15 mins? searching for it was most of it and i see this white lady with her kid who ran to the quarter machine just cause its a quarter machine...and quarters facinated him.. kids :P...

So i take my laundry out piece by piece, and guess what i found shamefully to my pleasure, BC's dildo/bottle opener ( it was shaped like the male genitalia) . LOL... i hid it haha.. :S haha...
I left it there 2 weeks ago in my laundry basket, and threw clothes on it every since hahah....

Anyways, i went to a place called huddle house... to get something to eat. LOL... it was some sorta diner. This one was really interesting, haha the lady serving the counter was talking about how her husband wants to see her daughter but he doesnt deserve it and how he didnt come back last christmas cause he was scared of her father. Her father was gonna blow that guy 's insides if he did.. (southerner's they will do it, more action less talk).

And this couple were having a fight i think, for something... i think she was pregnant or something.. and she just left crying after awhile and the guy was chasing after her... "he must have said something smart to piss her off " , the other waitress said. Hmm... o.O so i decided to sit longer to see more drama..

there was this bunch of ppl outside sitting around this old dude in the rocking chair... KKK!? i dunno but they were sure looking at me funny.. when i walked in and out.. all eyes on me? yeap...following me.. i just pretended not to notice. Oh yeah, the lady did come back after that.. the pregnant one laa! :) i guess they got it cleared i hope.

I decided to get my laundry out, 8 mins to go as i walked in the laundromat.. well they had those machines with those toy in eggs and tekken2.. haha i played..tekken 2 got whooped after a bit and i got an egg haha.. then i sang alone in that room outloud..been awhile since i did that..
i seriously feel like a caged bird here.. sometimes, i don't want to disturb my neighbors sigh..

and, i havent recorded much yet, still drafting origami girl.. somethings missing... sigh...way behind schedule. anyways, i m gonna take a shower and wear clean clothes ;) haha..

A Little Under the Weather

Kinda bombed the performance on saturday, didn't perform for quite a bit so i had the jitters again. One thing about performing is theres always jitters only different types. We played 3 songs, i only posted on cause the other two weren't justified. The one i posted was just okay, but you can hear me being nervous. "malaysian" crowd... i guess thats why...

The PA guy didnt understand what i meant when i said turn my guitar off, i wanted to tune it for the second song (maxi's original) but he didnt turn it back on. I also forgot to bring my capo on stage, but i guess thats my fault. I should have just ran and got it anyways... then i just panicked after that when i was playing my solo and no sound was coming out...sigh... nvm

Wanna continue with my recordings but i had to leave my guitar back in Atlanta theres no place in the car, diapa and avadhi need a ride. anyways no biggie, will find something else to do. Just feeling a bit under the weather today, maybe i m just tired.

Hope you like the video... I ll be more serious the next time, will not let my nerves get the best of me. I need to get my performances reflective of the number of times i have done it.

Got our OWN internet now, so yeah not leeching anymore.. lol.. but we were leeching with permission mind you. :)

Sigh.. work has been busy, now from the time i step in the building i have work to do till the time i step out. haha.. its not bad better than not doing anything.

initially it was manual labor stuff like reworking wires, like 2000 of them, that was the target my mentor set for me. Maybe he thought i was mexican or something(no offense, you guys do crazy loads). I did 1000 the first week, and he was pretty surprised actually, but guess what this week he comes up to me and say they are having problem in the line with that, when they pull out the wires out of the boxes some of them tend to get stretched because they are tangled up >_<" so yeah la , what else, reworked those thousand that i had reworked lol... in addition to that i found another 750 wires, that i have to rework from scratch so yeah, thats not only what i have to do, though a lot of other manual labor stuff. I have to keep a head of the line >_<" today the requirement jump from 24 to 183 i was like woah.. lol lucky i had done more than enough the day before lol... programming helped me a lot too haha, funny how i tell the computer to tell me what i need to do and how much. lol..

Well work is getting better, more "engineering" i guess. I really wanna do some research stuff though, new. I guess i ll have to wait a lil bit more of maybe the next rotation.

Today, was rough at one point i felt like killing those ppl at immigration were not only rude to me but they hung up one me, its not like i got my information wrong in THEIR system. and i have to go through all this shit.. sigh i guess... its like that nothing much i can do about it. And i tot the system in Malaysia was screwed up.

First Week

Already one week, not too bad i guess although i still haven't got my instructional permit for my driving license yet cause the immigration didnt keep their 5-7 day period to correct my information gonna call them and find out whats going on.

Got my guitar and tv with me... and everything else water electricity and hot water ! haha... now just chilling probably gonna finish the other half of there will be blood. Pretty weird movie, its okay though.

John Mayer is playing and one republic is opening i m wondering whether anyone's going back to Atlanta or not this weekend if not i might have to give away my tickets :(

Started of with walking up and feeling a bit stuffy in the chest area i slept right in front the aircond with nothing in the other co-ops place. My apartments have no electricity yet havent gone to city hall to get it done yet, just signed the lease though.

erm... no car yet lol, immigration..yeah you know, anyways...so yeah... living with the mercy of other people. I knew we alone aren't much but know i know what exactly it means. Compassion is a privilege. Elwin's probably gonna get his car first, hes taking a look at Mitsubishi Eclipse, new car. :) hehe...he wants it. so yeah. i m gonna get my license A.S.A.P. seriously need it here, the place is pretty much quiet but yeah what do you expect. However, i m looking forward to working here.

plus there s a lot of outdoor activities.
